We’ve deployed a change intended to fix the issue where some users saw a blank area instead of the course video player when watching Udemy courses in a web browser.

Initial checks indicate that video playback is working as expected again, but we are continuing to monitor error rates and user feedback to ensure the issue is fully resolved.

We’re currently investigating an issue where some users see a blank area instead of the video player when trying to watch Udemy courses in a web browser.

Our engineering team is working to identify the cause and restore normal video playback.

Workaround: Some users may be able to access and watch their courses by:
– Using the Udemy mobile app (iOS or Android), or
– Trying a different browser or device.

We’ll share another update here as soon as we have more information.
